Friend of my father

My father is Lt. William K. Barrett (Bill) who was KIA in October 1965. We lived right near you and I used to play with your daughter Kim. You were very good friends with our father and even walked me to school after he was killed. I remember you had a German shepherd. You were always very kind from the little bit of memory I have. You are not forgotten! I pray you are enjoying the heavenly banquet with my father!

Together...Never Forgotten

Today is others Day and although many years have passed you have never been forgotten. Your two beautiful little girls remember and cherish the brief time they were with you. They lost a devoted father. You would incredibly proud of them today as well as your three "practically perfect" grandchildren. Although your grandchildren know you only from pictures and stories they too honor your memory.
Today I shed a few tears thinking about our time together and wishing so much you could have come home to us. You will never be forgotten. Loving you Always!
