Went to visit The Vietnam wall 4-20- 2023 in Edinburg, Texas to See Pablo Almanza's name. Met Pablo in Summer of 1965 in Chicago Hts. Ill. we became friends for a few months. Tears came to my eyes as I found his name. RIP my friend!

My name is Raymundo Raya Almanza. my mother (before marriage) name was Maria almanza. (Cousin of Pablo Almanza) She would tell me stories about my uncle in Vietnam and I use to wish I woulda fight in that war. I see my uncles as a hero and I am proud to say they was my uncles. I want to thank them for their service, it must of been hard to be a Mexican American serving the army at the time . God bless his soul and much thanks for serving this country.
