In Memory of Troy

This Marine was Killed in action during an ambush at the Que Son River Valley, Quang Tin Province, Vietnam, on the evening of 5/3/1967, along with 13 other brothers, due to the poor judgement (stupidity) of the A. Co., BLT. 1/3, CO. Capt. Hendricks, during Operation Beaver Cage-Union. They were ordered on a water run without taking precautions and the NVA Army surprised us. We operated out of the USS Okinawa LPH-3 doing heliborme assaults. All that knew him can be very proud for he did his part. God Bless you Brother. Rest in Peace. L/cpl. Antonio Ramos -USMC-ret.

Not forgotten

Troy, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well and thank you.
