You are not Forgotten
If any Family members or Friends of Rafael reads this, I am looking for a Picture of him to send to Washington DC. For the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
It would be nice to have a Picture of him to put with his Name.

Peace with Honor
Rafael is buried at Puerto Rico National Cemetery, Section F-72.
He started his tour in Vietnam on 10/16/1965 and was an infantryman with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and died on 11/12/1965 from multiple fragmentation wounds.
Rafael, you were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Hector.
