Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Frye – 1932

High School Memories
I met Barry my sophomore in high school ROTC, he was a junior.
The thing I most remember about Barry was his willingness to help the "new" cadets, he had this friendly and gentle manner that made you pay attention and learn.
In the two short school years that I knew Barry, he would always have time for the underclassmen and always had a "story" to tell. He was truly a friend to all who met him.
I learned of the loss of Barry yesterday (July 4th, 2002).. I was, and still am, in a state of shock.

Sundog Remembered
I remember Barry as a soft spoken family man. Most of us were young, some married, but most with no kids.
I was on the same mission with Barry when he was killed. He was in the middle of the most deadly day at a
place called An Loc. He faced massive ground fire every day and returned every day to do his duty. He was a
brave and a couragous man putting his country first. A man I was proud to call my friend.

Super Cousin
Barry was married to Susan, my first cousin. He taught me how to water ski, got me interested in The Citadel (I'm an '81 grad) and the Air Force (been in almost 20 years). I'm looking for folks who knew Barry and have pictures, remembrances, etc. Please e-mail me with your recollections/scanned pictures of Barry. He was a super guy!
