South Carolina, USA. May his sacrifice not be forgotten.

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

Woke up today to see the ground hog see his shadow. We were not so happy to hear 6 more weeks of winter. Waiting for sping to arrive! Another season that you are absent an person, but never in spirit. The groundhog always reminds us of your special day.



As special as it is,every birthday comes with more questions for your grandchildren as they get older. It is very hard to comprehend that I have few memories of you. However, this has been a very special year for memories and stories of you.



Some very special people that knew you as a FAC have made our lives, here on earth, a little brighter. We all have had questions and answers that we had searched for years!Thanks to the FAC reunion that mom and I attended in late September. The "guys" and spouses were wonderful to us!



People that never knew you have missed a great blessing in life. Thankfully, you gave me life, dreams, hope, and a special heart to open up to meet and get to know people that were part of your short life on earth! Thanks to all of your Vietnam friend that have come forth and shared a part of you that know one knew!



God Blesses us on this special day with grace and understanding to not become bitter and to keep on living life to the fullest until we meet again!
