Missing You!

Barry, missing you on your birthday. You were such a great mentor to me and gave me the desire to attend The Citadel and to make a career of the U.S. Air Force. I've been back at our alma mater for 5 1/2 years and think of you often.

Barry was my first cousin by marriage.

My sweet husbnd

There is not a day that I don't think of you and our short "Camelot life". Thanks to the goodness of God you have two special daughters and 6 grandchildren. I pray that some of them have inherited your grace and love. The life you gave me in 4 short years was as no other. I will see you in heaven. Love you, Rabbit

Happy Birthday in advance, altho you will always be 26 to me

Pilot Training; Laredo Texas

My husband, Ron Justice, and Barry were in the same Pilot Training Class at Laredo AFB in 1968-1969. We were very close to Barry and Susan and loved them dearly. What an exciting and fun year that was! We lived on the same street...if memory serves, it was Frost Street. I would often walk down to Susan's and we would visit and talk and talk. As couples, we had parties almost every week-end....usually took turns at each other's apartments; marguerite's and nachos! We often visited LaLa's in Mirando City just outside of Laredo, THE best Mexican food ever. The last time we saw Barry and Susan.....they came through Topeka, KS where we were stationed (Forbes AFB) and visited us around Thanksgiving 1969....on their way out to South Carolina. We were devastated to hear the news in May 1972. And we still think of Barry often as we did just the other day on Veteran's Day. Barry was the kind of guy that everyone liked immediately upon meeting him. I regret that I lost contact eventually with Susan and would love to hear from her and talk to her. We are so happy to hear they have 6 grandchildren!!! Pat Justice

Very special to me

Barry and I were like brother and sister as part of the family of Dallas Water Ski Club. Great times, great memories. I will never forget.
