Thanks

Dear Sgt Refugio Cantu,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It is another autumn, and time has passed since this war. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Grandpa Joe

Although I myself or my father (your son Gabriel Cantu) didn't get the pleasure of knowing you, I carry you with me always. I know you were a strong and courageous person, I salute you grandpa for giving your life for the freedom we have today. If anyone had the pleasure of knowing my grandpa it would be greatly appreciated to know just about anything about him especially for my fathers sake.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Refugio Jose Cantu, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
