Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never die...
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never die...

Never Alone
I was there the day you gave all for your country. You did not die alone my brother. I think of you often. You were a great “grunt” and Air Cav Trooper. RIP!

Never Forgotten
Butch I barely remember you when we both lived in Astoria but I have never forgotten the ultimate sacrifice you made for our country. I was fortunate enough to get a rubbing of you name off of the Vietnam memorial when I was there on an Honor Flight. I will always cherish the fact that I knew you.
