I was there.
Jose and I were in the same squad. I was leading our company that terrible day of 1/15/69. I walked straight into an ambush that took the lives of our entire squad. I was no one special, but God chose to save my life with a miracle (one of many to come). I couldn't talk about what happened for the next 30 years. Finally, my wife encouraged me to write down a few stories for our son who was in High School at the time. What ended up being a book came flooding out on paper. If you're interested, it's available at Amazon Books under the title, "NOT ENOUGHT TEARS." May God bless the families of those who gave everything for our country.
