THE WALL OF FACES

It is with great respect and gratitude that I am honored to be reading Robert E Cannon's name on November 9, 2022, at the 40th Anniversary of The Reading of The Names at The Wall in DC. My brother Richard Sablotny was also KIA 10/27/1968 and was from Bedford Ohio. He served the Army 3/60th 9th Infantry. Honoring our men/women who served unselfishly and gave the ultimate sacrifice is the least we can do. I strive to ALWAYS REMEMBER, ALWAYS LOVE and NEVER FORGET those we lost so young. My prayers and love are with your family!

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. That you graduated from my high school has special meaning to me. The remembrance from your wife Donna is especially poignant. May you rest in eternal peace.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace SGT. Cannon, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family.

You have been gone fifty years ago today. Our time together was so short. I have not forgotten you and miss you still. Your brothers and your parents are with you now and there is no one left here to speak with me about you. Rest in peace by beautiful husband. You are surrounded by love.
