Thank You

Dear Spec 5 Ronald Campbell,
Thank you for your service as an Armor Crewman. Today is the last day of summer, and time has passed since this war. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I still miss you.

You were so brave! You seemed so sure you would come back home. When I was told my world went black. I never thought of losing you. I have thought of you every day. And I believe I will see you again someday! You made me happy by caring for me. Thank-you for your love.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP5 Ronald Gates Campbell, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Wishing

I wish I could have known you as an adult. You left us at age 18. We were all so young. It was a Sunday morning at 6AM when 2 Army men came knocking on our door. Mom knew right away what it meant. I still remember that day this many years later. Rest in peace big brother.
