My fiance, Ron, and I have just read about you in the Philly paper. We have found your grave and are now taking it upon ourselves to see that you are not forgotten in your resting place so far from your Philadelphia home. Your grave will be cared for, visited, and decorated. Ron was in the 4th Marine airwing from '67-'73 (MAG-43) and never met you. However you are a brother Marine and that's all we need to know... we take care of our own. Thank-you for your bavery and sacrifice, we will never forget. SEMPER FIDELIS! -Donna

I served with Michael in boot camp and in Calif. before we left for Nam in Sept. When we got to Da Nang we split up and went to different units. Rest in peace bro.

Michael Callahan served with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, Mike Company. He was Killed In Action during Operation ESSEX. His name stands proudly on the Mike 3/5 Wall of Honor. Semper fi, Brother.
