Thanks
Dear Sgt Steven Calhoun,
I hope someone will put your photo here because this is a wall of faces and yours is not here. Thank you for your service as a General Vehicle Repairman. As another summer comes to an end, it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT Steven Brian Calhoun, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

SERVED WITH STEVEN CALHOUN, CAMP EVANS VIETNAM 1969
I was assigned as PltSgt of B company 37th Signal, 63rd Signal Bn
Each morning without fail i could count on hearing steven calling me Sgt Gonzales", Sgt Gonzales"
I had just taken over the Platoon and Steven had been transfered from Phu Bai and wanted to return, I was advised to ask for 28 volunteers from the Platoon for reassignment to Phu Bai, And of course steven was one of the ones who volunteered to go,
I Saw him again a month later in Phu Bai and he told me he
was going into the A Shua valley with the 101st to kick Charlies A--. Thats the last time i sawSteven Calhoun, he was KIA may 18th. 1969, 3 weeks before his DEROS
I Miss hearing his voice calling me, GOD BLESS YOU STEVEN.
