He Was A Real Leader
Don was my tactical officer in Officer Candidate School. I admired and resepected him immensely. He led by example and he was tough but fair. He was my role model, and as a young officer faced with difficult decisions I often thought about how he would have handled the situation. In my later life I still look to his example quite often.
