THE WALL OF FACES

In honor of your dedication and sacrifice to our Country, our Corps, and our CAP unit, on 8 August 2024 the CAP Unit Veterans Association will have a brick engraved with your name installed along the walkway of the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia, at the Dedication of the Combined Action Platoon Monument.

Your name was Dewey but we all called you Jr Burns. We grew up together, played together, lived together, you were my Big brother. I admired you so much. You were so good at everything you did. You were my Big brother. You watched over me every day helped me when I needed it. You were my Big brother my hero long before you went to Vietnam. I love you and miss you every day but one day we will be together again never to be separated until we meet again my hero my Big brother sending my love to you !!

Sir, You were my husband's step uncle. He did not get to meet you but often wishes that he had been able to spend time with you. Thank you for your honor and bravery! May you rest in peace!
