Combined Action Platoon Monument - Memorial Brick
In honor of your dedication and sacrifice to our Country, our Corps, and our CAP unit, on 8 August 2024 the CAP Unit Veterans Association will have a brick engraved with your name installed along the walkway of the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia, at the Dedication of the Combined Action Platoon Monument.

My Big Brother
Your name was Dewey but we all called you Jr Burns. We grew up together, played together, lived together, you were my Big brother. I admired you so much. You were so good at everything you did. You were my Big brother. You watched over me every day helped me when I needed it. You were my Big brother my hero long before you went to Vietnam.
