Dedicated on Sunday, April 21, 2013 in the entrance hall of the University Church. Captain Walter Francis Burke, USAF is remembered along with twenty-two other alumni who died in the Vietnam War.

DOG TAG RETURNED AFTER 4 DECADES

On November 17, 2012, the dog tag of Captain Walter F. Burke was returned to his family after 43 years. Pictured are Lauren Burke Branch & Scott Burke (children) and Cynthia Burke (Capt. Burke's widow). Another son, Jake Burke was not able to attend the presentation. The ceremony took place in the Katy VFW in Texas.
