Although I did not know you, I honor your name. Although I did not know you, I honor your history. Although I did not know you, I honor your service, because without you, I would not be free. I was 7 years old when you honored your country with your life. I am now 58 years old, because you were a citizen of the Home of the Brave.

Dear Spec 4 Charles Burke,
Thank you for you service as an Infantryman. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Charles when he was two Years Old - Chuck was an only child, and the son of Mr. & Mrs. Julian Burke, a local Mandeville minister.
