Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Dot Huckaby is especially poignant. May you rest in eternal peace.

50 Years and Still Hold on to Your Memory

You left this earth 50 years ago dear uncle Jimmy. Although I was only 4, I remember loving you so much and know your absence left a hole in all our hearts. I can only imagine the great things you would have accomplished had you lived, but know you are in a far more beautiful place. I hope you will be one of the first to greet me when I join you in heaven. We will never forget and our love never dies.

I wish I could have met you

My grandmother, Mary Opal Cox(Burchfield), told me you were her cousin.
She told me what a great guy you were.
Although I was just a baby when you died I think of you often and I feel proud to be related to you.
