THE WALL OF FACES

May 7th
What was probably one of the luckiest days of my life, was also one of the worst days of my life.
I was hit in the head but not skull penetrating. You were not as lucky. You held on for a few days but slipped away later that Month.
May 7th has become my one day of the year that I thank God and also prey for Him to hold you close.
Rest in peace brother.

52 years have passed since that bad day.
I think of you often, but today you'll be on my mind all day.

Dear Spec 4 Frederick Bullington,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Today is 51 years from the day you were hit.
For several reasons May 7th is my personal bad day.
Your loss is one of those reasons.
