LEFT FOR GUY FRANCIS ABBOTT
POSTED ON 11.6.2000

For SFC Guy Francis Abbott, USA...a fine and brave soldier whose name shall live forever more!

Goodbye, America's heroes, we have shamefully faailed to stand by you, for all the wrong reasons, which had tempted us aside! Now we must pay the price for letting those who survived down, as well knowing some who didn't have to die have died! We must honor them every daay when we see their naames upon the Wall! And from every corner of the laand, they answered to the caall! Every SOLDIER, sailor, aairman, aand Maarine and Coast Guaardsman, too...they all gave their lives so we could live beneath the Old Red, White and Blue. For those who've gone beforee, we say ""WELL DONE! Be thou at peace!" We salute SFC Abbott, UNITED STATES ARMY, whose devotion to DUTY...whose devotion to HONOR...aand ABOVE ALL!...whose devotion to GOD and our COUNTRY!...the land that he loved...the LAND of the FREE aand the HOME of theBRAVE..will never...I say agaain, will NEVER be extinguished from our minds!

SFC Abbott was one of the bravest soldiers I had the honor to serve with.

He inspired all of us with his devotion to duty and concern for his men.

He was unselfish and never asked any man to do something that he would not do.

A soldier all were proud to follow.
