I was there that day
I was with 1st plt, Lima Company Third Battalion 4th Marines on January 18, 1968. Tyrone, you are not forgotten. Every 2 years at our unit reunion, you are remembered at our memorial service.
In 2003, Harry Thomas Elms posted seeking information about that day. Unfortunately his phone, & e-mail are no longer good.
In a few days it will be the 43 anniversary of that battle. I'm hoping Harry will visit this site again and get in touch with me by e-mail.
Semper Fi Marine
Thank you for your sacrifice.
