MEMORIAL DAY 2016
What do I remember on Memorial Day?
The fact that my best high school friend, U.S. Marine Corps PFC STEVE BROWN, came home in a box with the top of his head blown off after getting assassinated in the Mekong Delta by a Viet Cong snipper in 1965…and now I get to see President Obama sipping tea with some scum bag in front of a Ho Chi Minh statue.
That’s what I remember on Memorial Day! STEVE BROWN!

Good Friend
I lived down the Street from Steve (Christy Drive in P-Cola) I'll never forget the day I found about his passing. It rocked me to the core. He was a good friend and funny as heck at times. He and I use to Hang Out a lot , He was just a fun guy to be around.
I'll never forget the night over at our friends house (Patti & Nancy Boucher) he told me he was joining the Marine Corp. I just wanted to take the time and say that Steve was a dang good person and good friend. I later went to Vietnam myself as a Navy Seabee and stationed in the Quang Tri Provence (1969) in support of the 3rd Marine Div, I often thought of Steve while I was in that war and was very proud to call him (Steve) my friend .. I'm very proud of him and his service to our country. I will never forget my friend>Steve Brown.
