Dear Sgt Brown,
Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice. It is another summer, as time continues to pass since Vietnam. It is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Although I never met Gary Wayne Brown, I have recently discovered that he was my cousin. He was a "Screaming Eagle" who sacrificed his life for this country, his family, and for his brothers in arms.He is a hero to me because he embodied the spirit and courage that built this great nation. I pray that his soul is resting in eternal peace in the loving arms of our lord in heaven, or that God has seen fit to grant Gary's soul, a new, happier, peaceful, and much longer life than the last one.
