Final Mission of PFC Arthur D. Brown
PFC Arthur D. Brown was an infantryman serving with B Company, 5th Battalion, 12th Infantry, 199th Infantry Brigade. On July 12, 1969, PFC Brown’s unit was conducting a combat operation in Long Khanh Province, RVN, when a UH-1D helicopter (#66-01150) flying overhead received ground fire from a hostile force and crashed on Brown’s position.
