Thank You

Dear Lt Philip Zum Mallen, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Vietnam War Veteran Day – we remember you, and the end of Lent. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

You will never be forgotten

I never had the opportunity to meet you, you died long before I was born. But in 1990 or 1991 when I was 12 or 13, I purchased a memorial bracelet with your name on it from a local Veterans group. I have carried that bracelet in remembrance of you for close to 30 years. Up until just a few days ago, I was not aware that this website existed. For the very first time I was able to put a face to the name that I have been keeping in my heart all these years. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. You will never be forgotten.
