Good Guy!

Rest in Peace, Barry. Your family misses you dearly, but know your mother is with you now. Your sisters are carrying on and wonderful ladies now. You left too soon - but THANK YOU for your service and sacrifice to our Country for our freedoms! Carry on, Soldier.

I wish...

I wish I had been able to know my Uncle Barry. I know my mother, his sister Gloria, loved him with all her heart. I have only one memory of him, my mother crying on her bed when she found out he was killed. I remember wanting to go with her and her telling me I couldn't, I of course at 4 did not really understand. From all I have heard, he was a great husband, father and solider. Just a great man.

I only remember his funeral

My father died in March of 1967. I celebrated my third birthday that June. I remember being hugged by his sister. The only memory I have of him. I cherish all of the amazing things people tell me about him. Thank you all.
