Dear Cap Robert Young, Thank you for your service as a Chemical Staff Officer - Helicopter Pilot. Your 89th birthday is soon, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun, and so has Daylight Saving's Time. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace CAPT. Young, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family.

To my Father Robert Allen Young Jr. I was 4 years old when I last saw you, I often wondered if I'd ever see you again. You've always in my heart and thoughts all the years of my life. As the years have passed I've visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall and seen your name etched in the granite and once again you were with me. I will always honor you and the sacrifice you made to protect our country that we my live in freedom in a nation under God. My mother Dorothy Waynett Vann would hand me cards from family of ours from, Montgomery Alabama and Birmingham Alabama, as a kid and now my son has found this info and I just wanted to say I'm proud of you for all you have done.

Thank you for the information on this final flight,my brother Capt Robert A Young was one of the casualties, we knew some of the story but I've always wondered about the rest of the crew. I'm saddened still for the lost of all those men and women who paid the price of war. Thanks again, Mary Helen Young Neal
