Do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Mary Frye – 1932

Thank You

I am a senior at Gridley high school in central Ill. I want to remember the men that gave their lives in the Vietnam War. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the ultimate price that you paid for me and this country. You gave something to this country that many people could never do, so thank you for everything that you have done. Sincerely, Ben. J

I remember Ricky ..

.. though voted "Most Studious" in the senior class ('68), I remember Ricky as as the funniest. From the time I first met him (8th grade?) he impressed me with his wit and good humor. There are many from those years that I can barely recall, but Ricky has alway stood out. I've never forgotten him, and never will. Ricky - you are missed.
