Remembering Always

Randall L. Brockway was certainly a hero to many. He has a beautiful daughter that is a teacher with 2 of his grandsons. Unfortunately she was only 5 months old when he was killed in Viet Nam and never got to officially meet her but loved her through the pictures and few phone calls that were allowed. He has been gone since 1969 but never forgotten. We connected with his son who is unfortunately passed and another daughter who has a beautiful family too. I was blessed to be his wife and since have another Army soldier to love and raise our family together. My brave Randy would be proud of how we have been able to move along but never forget him. God bless the soldiers and those in Heaven.

Thank You

Dear Sgt. Brockway,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Independence Day just passed, and it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank You Hometown Hero,

I was lucky enough to go on a trip with my mother to Washington, DC a month ago. While there one of my most memorable destinations was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. I was proud to find on the wall a local Vietnam hero from my hometown of Burlington, Iowa. Thank You so much for your ultimate sacrifice you made for our great country's freedom.
