Thank You

As a student at Gridley high-school I was assigned a project in sociology to write remembrances for the Americans we lost in Vietnam. I can't express enough respect for those who died for their country. It is because of you I am proud to be an American.

Thank You

I am a senior at Gridley High school in rural central IL. I am posting remembrances for fallen soldiers that participated in the Vietnam War for a class posting project. I would like to thank you for your honor that you showed during the war time. I hope all Americans understand what you have done for them. My dad almost died in the war while stepping on a land mine and I am thankful that he is here today. Your friends and family members should be proud of your accomplishments and for giving it your all. Thank you once again for the ultimate sacrifice that you gave to this country.

Sincerely,
Ben. J

Dear Herman,
Our school has started what it calls the Gridley High School Posting Project. This is where students from our school post remembrances for those who fought and died in the Vietnam War. I want to say thank you for all you did for our country and its people. You truly are a hero.

God Bless,
Kayla Porzelius

Thank you

Dear Sir,
As a student at Gridley High School who is currently involved in the Gridley High School Posting Project, it has become much more than my assignment to post remembrances for the Vietnam soldiers who did not return home from war. It has become my duty, as an American and the future generation of tomorrow, to honor those who loved their country in such a way that they sacrificed their lives to make someone else’s a happier, safer, more humane one. Thank you for your commitment to America—you will not be forgotten!
