Remembering An American Hero
Dear CPL Tommy Lloyd Wyatt, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

My uncle USMC Hero
I am so proud to carry on the full name of Tommy Lloyd Wyatt. The uncle I never had the chance to meet. I was born 2 months after he died and my parents blessed me with his full name to carry on. My father also a Marine told me a lot of stories of him and his little brother and the times they spent together. Many times he commented of how I am so much like his brother. The loss was hard for my father. Rest in peace uncle Tommy. I am so proud of the USMC men in my family.
