Thought of You Today
Dear Emil: I saw your name on the wall today. This website was listed in the paper, so I thought I'd try to find your name. Even though we hardly knew each other, I remember the times we spent goofing off at Yellow Lake, especially when you put those crackerballs under the toilet seat at the bar! I also remember the last time I saw you; it was at Larry and Barbara Heinrich's wedding. You were wearing your Navy uniform. Yor mom used to tell me over and over how proud she was of you. I think you're the only person I know who was killed in the war and I am reminded of you whenever anyone mentions the war or the wall. I'm glad I saw your name on the wall today.
