Lester Allen Wright, 23, gunner's mate 3rd class, RD 2, Irwin who was killed July 31, seven miles from Saigon on Bein Hoa Highway in South Vietnam when his supply jeep collided wit a Vietnamese jeep, will be buried Sunday. Born May 22, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Harry and Jean Rysner Wright, RD 3, Irwin. In addition to his parents other suvivors include two brothers, Harre E., RD 3, Irwin; Donald E., Maryland, and two sisters, Mrs. Linda Graft, Arlington, Va. and Cheryl C., at home. He was a graduate of Norwin High School in 1962 and was in the Navy since November of 1962. Friends will be received at Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, beginning at 7 Friday and 2-5, 7-9 daily. Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Chaplain Luther Seibert USNR officiating. Full military honors will be in charge of the Navy Department.
