My uncle Gary

Gary P Worrell was my uncle. I never met him. He was gone before I was born. Ive seen wonderful pictures and heard amazing things. I spent 20 yrs of my life close to his parents. My grandparents were my world. My mother is Gary's sister (Lindsey Worrell). Gary's father (my grandfather) was Wesley Carlos Worrell. Gary's mother ( my grandmother) was Pauline Worrell. Pauline's maiden name was jones. I see a post from his daughter Wendy Worrell. I never knew Gary had children, so I'm slightly confused. Wendy if you would like please contact me at my email: [email protected]

Remembering an American Hero

Dear PFC Gary Paul Worrell, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say 'thank you'; for America, for your daughter, Wendy, and those who love you, and for the Sgt's son.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter (son of Sgt. Ardon William Carter, 101st Airborne, February 4, 1966, South Vietnam)
