Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Frye – 1932

In Your Memory
Hello my name is Drew Bunting and I am this remembrance as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. It is my belief that neither you nor your fellow soldiers should have been involved in this war. Even so you accepted your duty at a moments notice to defend a way of life that was not your own and for this I feel a great sense of pride.

Thank You Soldier
Dear Soldier, I want to thank you for the great sacrifice that you have paid for the freedom of every American citizen. I am a student at Gridley High School in Gridley Illinois and we are doing this as a Gridley High School Posting Project for world history. I on the other hand am doing this as much more than just a student with another assignment that has to be done. To me this means a lot more because I had an uncle that was in the Vietnam War, and he about lost his life in battle. I appreciate the actions that you took in trying to keep our country safe and secure. It is just a great feeling to know that we are being protected by people like you that are willing to lay it all down on the line and pay the ultimate sacrifice for this reason. I thank you again and may God Bless.

Thank you so much
Dear soldier,
My name is Zach Nicolay and this remembrance is part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. I did not know you, but the sacrifice that you and others made helped to mold my future into what it is today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and my God bless your soul.
