THE WALL OF FACES

We attended school and played football together. Donnie is the only classmate we lost to that war, although at least three others of us served there. I submitted his graduation photo, the only one I could find. I miss him. I have tried in vain to learn exactly what happened.

Dear SFC Briscoe,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Parachute Rigger. Tomorrow is Independence Day, and it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

To you Donnie, you were a sweetheart of mine as we grew up together in school and knowing your family. Thank you for your service and sacrifice
for your country. You'll always have a special place in my heart.

I thank him for the sacrifice he gave for MY FREEDOM and in order to live in a free country. WE were classmates but close friends but in the same classes in high school......may he rest in peace after a horrific war.
