LEFT FOR RONALD LEE WILSON
POSTED ON 11.1.2014

I was behind him as we left our position at C2 on our way to Con Thien. The night before he died we talked into the wee hours. This was the second time I received a concussion in less then 14 hours. He died I lived. I remember him in my prayers always.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Ronald Lee Wilson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Dear Ronald,
I would like to thank you for the sacrifice that you made. You defended your nation’s beliefs and were willing to die for these beliefs. You sacrificed your life because you believed in the inalienable rights for all of human kind. Thank you for your protection and extension of liberties for all men, women, and children.
