Thanks!

You did a wonderful thing. You put your life on the line in order to help our country. Even though you died, you did not fail. Giving up your life, made us one step closer to victory. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Crystal Alvey Gridley High School Posting Project, Illinois

Thank You

Dear Mr. Wilson
I thank you for what you did those days in battle and for the men that you may have saved. I am writing you not only to thank you but to salute you for what you did. I thank you for giving up your life so that we may live. I and the rest of the World History class at Gridley High School are proud of what you did.

Thank You

I am a student from Gridley High School in Gridley IL, and I'm posting remembrances as part of an extra credit report. I didn't ever know you, but I do know that you gave your life as an American hero. Thank you for your bravery.

A great guy.

I was the Sergeant or squad leader of Bobby the entire time we were in Viet Nam. Bobby was a great guy and he was serious about the reasons why we were there. I was with Bobby the morning of 02-25-68 when we walked into that mine field and 15 of us were wounded and 3 were killed. I think of Bobby frequently and truly miss him as a friend.
