Friends Forever
Growing up together in Farmington, Mn in the 1960s we biked the entire town most everyday leaving me with many fond memories. When we received our license we drove the town and many miles together, had a lot of laughs and good times - the stories we could tell. As a groomsman at my wedding Feb. 3 1968 it was the last time I saw you. The war separated us as I served 3 tours of duty aboard an aircraft carrier until June 1971. I treasure our memories.

Remembering "Briesie"
I was Briesie's platoon leader in the 192nd AHC and he was an a/c electrician. He was killed after I left this unit. As someone else noted, he seemed to love life and beer! He was a very good at his job. I, too, wonder what his life would be like now.
I will be assisting with the traveling "Wall" this weekend while it is in Arkansas. I will "look up" Briesie while I am there.
Rest in Peace.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP5 Marvin Carroll Briesacher, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
