Remembrance

He was known as Bobby by his family. His nickname was Willie in the Navy. Willie was a Brownwater Sailor in Vietnam. Serving on the muddy rivers. The tour was to be for one year from January 1966 to January 1967. Willie was stationed on the Nye County L.S.T. 1067. Awards earned: Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, R.V.N. Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm, R.V.N. Civil Action Unit Citation, R.V.N. Campaign medal with 60'S Device. You were a good Sailor, a Vietnam brother, and you will never be forgotten.
