To Put A Face With A Name

Dear Lenwood, thanks to the article published in the Orange County newspaper to honor the 28 heroes of Orange County who made the supreme sacrfice in the Vietnam War and some of the photos furnished to me by the retired Chief of Police of Orange County, TX, Sam Kittrell, it is my extreme honor to be able to upload your photo to your profile so that it will be proudly displayed on your birthday each and every year when the VVMF Education Center is built. It is with great pride and humility that I post this remembrance and I do so to honor you and your memory and the sacrifice you made for our country. You are not forgotten and remain in many hearts all these years later. You have been designated to be one of God's special angels, along with the love of my life, who also sacrificed his life during this war 45 years ago. God Bless You, Lenwood, for being who you were and for all you did--we live in freedom to this day thanks to heroes like you.

Not forgotten

Lewood, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well and thank you.
