Thank You

Dear Cpl Michael Welch, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Advent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Hello Michael I'm your nephew Chantz

My dad cared very much for you and so did the rest of our family. I always wonder what it would be like if you were still here. Your first name is my middle name so I know that my dad misses you very much, even after all these years.

My Big Brother, RIP

This is your younger Brother, Paul. I hope you are with Dad, and are able to show him around where you are. We all miss both of you, and look forward to the day our family will be together again, God willing.

I wish I'd known you better. On this Veterans Day, you are on my mind, as always. I've visited your grave many times - this last time with Steve. It's a beautiful place, but I know that you are in a far better place than we can know.

Love for eternity.
