I came home from Vietnam April 15, 1971. I worked for Stephen's
Dad Gene, at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Indiana He treated me like a Son he was patient and supportive. During my tune with him. Bless the memory of his Son, Bill Miller SGT 1st Cavalry US Army,

Independence Day is approaching, and it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I've worn your bracelet since 1989 when your best friend and war buddy Ken gave it to me. I cried when I finally saw your face. Ken told me so much about you, and said I'd have loved you. I've emailed with your sister Sue a few times. If there were anything I could do to bring you home I would.

We met in High School when we both worked at KMart . He took me to my Senior Prom at North Side, and I went with him to his prom at Monmouth High School. I was writing to him when he was declared MIA. I have a video of prom to share if I can figure out how to digitize it. I have married and have 4 children and 13 grandchildren but still remember him often. He was a kind and gentle man.
