Gary Anthony Breck, A Californios

I only met my cousin Gary Breck when I traveled to Santa Barbara and with our family get togethers. We had/have a rich family histories that include the Spanish ancestry to 1769 in California, to the British founders of Boston, Massachusetts in 1632 and of the Royals of early Europe dating back to 3317 BC in Ireland.
After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and I started college In Wilmington, California. I enlisted in the Army in October 1968, and served in Pleiku, South Vietnam in 1969. I learned of his death many years later. He as well as over twenty other cousins are on that wall from Southern California. God Bless

do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
