Worthy to be called a true hero!

Arthur, you will always be a true hero because you answered freedom’s call. I can’t begin to imagine the hardships you endured or what it felt like to leave the ones you loved and cared about most. My heart goes out to all that knew and loved you. I am a student in Gridley involved in the Gridley High School Posting Project and want you to know that you will always be in my heart and will be remembered as a leader and an example for future generations. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Jen Steffen
