While in MIA status, the U.S. Air Force promoted Maj. Brauner to Lieutenant Colonel along with his Air Force contemporaries.

I wore a POW/MIA bracelet for Henry for years. I bought it at the memorial wall in DC in 1990 something. I literally broke down in tears when I saw that'he'had been found. It's incredible how attached you can get to someone you've never met. Thank you,Henry... for everything.
