Warrant Officer, U.S. Army, Vietnam War-WO Brass was killed in action when his Helicopter crashed on 12-14-1970 while serving as Utility Observation Helicopter Pilot {199B} with Aviation Platoon, 326 Medical Battalion, 101st Airborne Division. WO Brass started his tour of Vietnam on July 9, 1970.

He is the son of Mr. James H. Brass of R.R. #1, Savannah Drive, Ooltewanth, Tennessee & Mrs. Athlyn J. Brass of 1003 South 3rd Street, St. Charles, Illinois, and is a 1967 graduate of the St. Charles School System.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Air Medal, Pilot Wings, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.

My room mate and good friend

I think about you often. i remember the time we had driving your Austin Heally to Panama City. The last time I saw you was at Ft.Sam Houston where you and Randy were in Medivac school. I shipped out soon after that. They took Frank Crouse too you know. Wish things could have been different.
