Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL James Edward Walsh, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

thank you

james walsh i never knew or met you but i want to thank you for the tremendous contribution you made to your country. i was searching on this site and i searched for walsh, a family name, and you came up. as a coincidence, i have an uncle who just passed away . His name was James Walsh and he lived in Ohio for most of his life. His recent death has touched our entire family and I think that it is a wonderful coincidence that such a wonderful man has the same name as my uncle. You will forever be remembered for your fight and devotion to our country.
