A courageous Marine
It has been fifty-one years since you were killed in action. You have not been forgotten. Your memory and that of our experience together in combat is present with me each and everyday. May the good Lord continue to bless your family with special memories of you. Semper Fidelis.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Richard Howard Walker, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Never forgotten
I am a volunteer working with the Wall of Faces and for months I have been trying to locate a picture of Richard. If anyone has any information that might be helpful, please contact me. He deserves to be honored on the virtual wall. I have found quite a bit of information but no picture. Thank you.
